Foreign applicants are required to complete some formalities associated with their work permits and work visas in accordance with the standards of the Qatari Passport Department.
The first stage: submitting the application
Apply for the position you desire (3 applications maximum) on the website, in accordance with the qualifications and experience you hold, in the "Current Vacancies" section. After submitting the request, you will receive an email informing you that we have received your order along with an order number created by the system.
The second stage: evaluation
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed for compliance with the job requirements. Due to the large number of resumes we receive, only direct applicants with the most job positions will be contacted directly. If you are not contacted after 3 months, the request can be considered unacceptable.
The third stage: the interview
Conducting the interview may include a telephone interview with a staff member concerned with recruitment matters, / or a direct manager in Qatar Petroleum and / or a personal interview conducted at the institution. The main purpose of the interview is to assess the applicant’s technical and cultural suitability of Qatar Petroleum’s requirements; the interview is also a way for the applicant to better understand the opportunity available to him in the company.
Fourth stage: selection
Qatar Petroleum sends a letter of offer to the chosen applicant and upon admission the applicant must undergo medical examinations and complete passport management procedures before joining the Qatar Petroleum family.
